NMU is equipped with an ADA compliant electric massage table for our handicapped clients. Our tables are also designed to accommodate our male clients who need a wider table and more length. For our female clients, we have a table that is specially designed for a woman’s body.

NMU Clinical Massage

NMU’s clinical massages are designed to reduce or alleviate pain and increase range of motion. Treatments are designed for the head, feet, neck, lower back, wrist/hands, and shoulder. Treatment will involve moist heat, ice, and/or steam.

This massage is recommended for anyone who has a chronic or acute condition that has been diagnosed by a licensed physician or health care provider.

Additional care will be determined at the conclusion of the session, but typically will require one to two follow-up appointments and should be discussed and pre-determined by a physician.

NMU Relaxation Massage

This massage is designed to relieve a client who is experiencing physical, mental, or emotional stress. This stress can manifest as headaches, loss of appetite, overeating, body aches and pains, pounding heart, grinding teeth, stomach or bowel problems, tense muscles, changes in libido, fatigue, sleep disturbance, elevated blood pressure, knots in your muscles, depression, and acne. Follow up appointments should be at least once a month, depending on the level of stress.
